Please read this Disclaimer carefully and in its entirety before using https://mishadow.com (the “Site”) or the MiShadow application (together, the “Service”). The Site and Service are owned and operated by MiShadow LLC.
PURPOSE: MiShadow is a family legacy vault and continuity tool. It helps families preserve the people, relationships, stories, recordings, interviews, time capsules, and media that make up their shared history. This Disclaimer explains who we are, what MiShadow does, and — just as importantly — what it does not do.

1. What MiShadow Is
MiShadow is a digital family legacy vault. It helps you store and organize family memories, family member profiles, relationships, stories, transcripts, interviews, time capsules, and references to your media, so your family's history can be preserved and passed on across generations.
MiShadow uses a hybrid storage model. Media you upload directly is stored in our first-party cloud storage. Media you connect from a provider you already use, such as Google Photos or Dropbox, can remain in that provider's storage while MiShadow keeps the surrounding context — names, relationships, stories, transcripts, and thumbnails.
2. What MiShadow Is Not
- MiShadow is not a law firm, financial advisor, tax advisor, fiduciary, estate-planning service, medical or mental-health provider, genealogy authority, or any other licensed professional, and it is not a substitute for professional advice.
- Nothing in MiShadow or its content is legal, tax, financial, medical, or estate-planning advice. For decisions about wills, trusts, inheritance, taxes, health, or any legal matter, consult a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.
3. Information Is No Substitute for Professional Advice
Content available through MiShadow — including AI-assisted transcripts, summaries, story drafts, prompts, and historical descriptions — is provided for personal and informational purposes only. It can be inaccurate or incomplete and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney, accountant, financial advisor, physician, or other professional you consult or should consult.
4. Estate Handoff and Posthumous Access
MiShadow offers estate-planning, beneficiary, and proxy-access features to help you record your wishes and designate people who may receive access to a vault. These features are planning tools. They do not by themselves create a legally binding will, trust, or estate plan, and they do not guarantee any particular outcome. Please consult a qualified estate-planning professional.
Access to a vault on death or incapacity follows the consent, designation, and verification steps configured in the product. It is not automatic, and we do not guarantee that any specific person will or will not gain access.
5. No Warranties, Guarantees, or Representations
We work hard to keep MiShadow reliable and to preserve your family's data for the long term. However, to the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is,” and we do not warrant or guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data, media link, or content will be accurate, complete, or preserved indefinitely. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of irreplaceable media.
6. AI and Automated Features
MiShadow uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to transcribe recordings, generate descriptions and stories, detect faces, and power search. Automated output can contain errors, omissions, or misidentifications, and should be reviewed by you before you rely on it. You remain responsible for the content you keep and share in your vault.
7. Third-Party and Connected Services
MiShadow relies on third-party providers to operate, and it can integrate with services you choose to connect, such as Google Photos and Dropbox. We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and any link to or mention of a third party is not an endorsement. You should review the terms and privacy practices of any service you connect.
